A rigid white material for applications requiring biocompatibility and/or thermal resistance. It provides beautiful parts that can be sterilized and tested at high temperature, over 100 °C.

Figure 4® MED-WHT 10 is a rigid, white material for a range of medical and industrial applications, including when biocompatibility, sterilization and/or thermal resistance is required. Capable of meeting ISO 10993-5 and -10 standards for biocompatibility (cytotoxicity, sensitization and irritation), this material can also be sterilized by autoclave. It delivers highly accurate parts with excellent feature resolution and high definition.

HOW WE MAKE IT

All MED-WHT 10 models are 3D printed using a complex four-step process. First, the model is printed in wax using a specialized 10-30 micron high-resolution SLA 3D printer. Then put in a container where alcohol liquid to get rid of residue poured in around it. When the plaster sets, need to be cure for 10-60 minute. Last step is removing the supports.
